You Lucky, Lucky, People We said they were coming and here they are! The 2021 Course Dates are now starting to go live on the website. We'll be adding even more in the next few days and the odd 2020 extra date if we can squeeze 'em in, as we are getting so many requests for even more dates.
What's Happening with The DIY School Courses now new Lockdown Measures are coming into force ? Rest assured, we're safely running courses in our Manchester training centre. Although on some of our courses, since June, we have had to reduce numbers by 50% to ensure safe social distancing. Everyone is required to wear masks whilst participating on their course, unless they are undertaking training in their own training bays, such as the Plastering, Tiling and Decorating courses which are adequately catered for in a spacious area per student. We have numerous hand washing facilities located close to all training areas along with frequent sanitising of all communal areas and seating, located at various points in our 4,500 sq ft training centre....

Taking practical courses online is highly challenging for students due to many reasons. Both the Pros and Cons exist for making practical online courses. Obviously there's nothing like rolling up your sleeves and participating in a course, but mixing some online learning as well, can help with understanding what a practical course will involve and also they aid as a reminder of what you learnt on your practical course.
