Tiling Grout Float & Sponge

With a smooth rubber face and soft foam backing, the grout float makes it easy to move grout across the surface of your tiling project

The float is used in conjunction with the a tiling sponge that is used to clean the tile surfaces before and after the grouting process.

Cheap sponges should be avoided as they tend to break up and leave small bits of sponge to set in the grout. Tiling specific sponges do not break up

Tiling sponges can seem expensive to buy but providing that you clean them they will last for a long time. Failing to clean a sponge will cause a build up of grout to develop in the centre of the sponge effectively turning the centre of the sponge in to a rock.
