Great course, Simon was so knowledgeable and easy to get along with. The information was really in depth and everything was explained in detail. Would love to do another! In terms of constructive feedback, perhaps it would be good to have some printed information to take away with us as reminders of the key information. Thank you again for a great course!

It was a great course. Good, friendly teachers and I definitely learned a lot.

The course was very useful and I am looking forward to putting some of the things into practice. Robin was very knowledgeable and showed us better ways to do things. I think it would be useful to have an information pack on the best tools for different jobs and what they do, to take home and study. I would recommend the course and look forward to doing more courses.

Ezra is a brilliant teacher for The DIY School and taught the group very well. I have definitely learnt the skill I was hoping to learn. At first I lacked confidence in my ability, but after the first day I was literally flying. With excellent tips and tricks from Ezra and four solid days of practice, I am fully confident to take this craft on. Well done to the rest of the team too. Great course and highly recommended.

I loved the home maintenance course. I am very glad I went and it was well worth it. The instructor, Robin, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, kind and has many interesting stories to share. My group was quite small, which meant we had more attention and were able to go at a good pace. We covered all the items on the course webpage syllabus. I especially enjoyed the practical aspects; they were set at just the right level of skill and duration. The course has given me confidence to tackle minor problems and projects in my home. I’m very much looking forward to trying my own hand!

We enjoyed the course. It is great that you allow teenagers to come too… I’m really proud of Oliver for attending for all 4 days. At 14 years old he’s never done anything like that, but he got stuck in and really tried. He’s shy, but everyone was really friendly. It was lovely to do something so useful as a mum and son activity. I hope it might inspire him to do more practical courses when he leaves school. I’m looking forward to putting the learning to use on my renovation project.
