Stockport Training Centre By Road
We are immediately next to Junction 27 (exit on Junction 25 if travelling clockwise) of the M60 Motorway on the Portwood Roundabout in Stockport behind Tesco Supermarket.
Turn into the Tesco service road which is Water Street and follow that round turning into the Mill. Continue back round to the front of the mill following The DIY School direction signs. Our main entrance is at the far end of the mill on the 3rd Floor.
Stockport Training Centre By Bus
The DIY School is served by the bus numbers 300 (Stockport town centre Shuttle) and 374 ( Hazel Grove, Stockport Reddish ). Both busses stop at Stockport Bus Station and Railways Station. For The DIY School you will need to get off at Tesco on Marsland Street. Walk round the front of Tesco and you will see Meadow Mill and The DIY School.
Stockport Training Centre By Rail
Stockport is a principal railway station and every train passing through stops at Stockport. So if travelling from the South you will most likely find direct routes to Stockport on west coast line trains that stop at Manchester Piccadilly. From the North you will likely travel in to Manchester Victoria Station, take The Metrolink Tram to Manchester Piccadilly ( 5 minutes ) and then a train out to Stockport ( 10 minutes ). From Stockport Station either take the 300 or 374 bus ( see above ) or get a taxi. The station is only about 1 mile from The DIY School so you could even walk.

By Car
The DIY School Birmingham: is situated close-by to Millennium Point and located on Andover Street in Digbeth, Leading from Curzon Street (B4132) onto New Canal Street, take either Fazeley street or Banbury Street leading to Andover street, minutes from Birmingham city centre and The Bullring. Millenium Point is clearly signposted from all main routes into the city - simply follow the brown tourist signs. The nearest motorways are the M6, M5 and M42.
Birmingham City Council multi-storey car park is situated next to Millennium Point (charges apply) and on street parking is available on Andover street. For sat nav use postcode B5 5RG.
The multi-storey car park has a height restriction of 2.1m (6'10").
Please note - Birmingham City Council multi-storey car park accepts credit/debit cards and cash payments. An HSBC cash point is situated on Level 0 within Millennium Point.
By Rail
The nearest train station is Moor Street station (10 mins walk away) and then New Street
Station (15 mins walk away). Snowhill station is also close by (15 mins walk away).

By Foot
The DIY School is less than a 10 minute walk from Moor Street Station.
• Turn right on leaving Moor St Station, walk along Moor Street Queenways and turn right onto Masshouse lane, turn right onto Park Street until you meet the junction with Fazeley Street, Fazeley street joins Andover Street, Unit 8 for the DIY School is on the left through the blue gates.

From Moor Street or the City Centre towards Millennium Point Bus stop on Digbeth Fazeley Street (PA2) on Park Street or Digbeth Masshouse lane stop (PA1) on Park St bus number 20 (B4114)

From St Martin’s Queensway (outside of New Street Rail Station) catch numbers 98/99 or X64 (stop NS1) two stops to The Priory Queensway (stop BS11), from where it is a 10 minute walk to Andover Street via Moor Street Queensway and Park Street and Fazeley Street to Andover Street.

The Weston Favell Shopping Centre is just 4 minutes walk from the Northampton DIY School. Northampton Centre is served by the X47 at Bus Stop D, which takes approxamately 20 mins and goes to Greyfriars Bus Station (Bay 12).
